Hayyyy! Here’s my first impressions on these 3 products by Honest Beauty. Jessica Alba did great with her makeup line! First, let’s appreciate the cute packaging. I love the simple, clean, and minimal look.
Everything Matte Primer ($21.99) – Honest Beauty | Target
Claims: Moisturizing matte primer. A fresh filtered look and long-lasting, evens makeup coverage. Helps blur imperfections and control shine throughout the day without drying out skin.
***Best drugstore primer I have used in awhile. I don’t know if it’s because I used a new facial cleanser or what, but this primer blurred all my pores and my cushion foundation applied on so smooth. I was a little hesitant to use this primer since it was matte and my skin is usually dry, but it did not make my face look flakey at all. I’m excited to start using this primer more.
Truly Kissable Lip Crayon Demi-Matte – Melon ($12.99) – Honest Beauty | Target
Claims: Lightweight. Luscious, cushiony, velvety demi-matte feel. Glides on. Satiny soft lips.
***This lip crayon glides on and is lightweight. It’s velvety, but once applied to your lips, it gives a nice matte finish. After a few hours, it starts to dry just a teeny bit, but compared to other matte lip crayons, it’s definitely more moisturizing.
Extreme Lash Mascara + Primer (14.99) – Honest Beauty | Target
Claims: 2-in-1 dual-ended mascara and lash primer work together to boost lash length, volume, and definition. Molded bristles of the mascara wand picks up and separates lashes without clumping.
***This mascara wasn’t too volumizing for me, but it surely made my lashes longer. Putting on the primer and then the mascara on after didn’t clump my lashes either. I would use this mascara for a more natural everyday, no make-up/makeup type of look.
Would you give these products a try? I recommend the matte primer the most!
