how to wear puffer vests

Haaaaayyyyy!
Fall/autumn is definitely upon us and it’s the season to layer up. Puffer vests are great pieces to add into your fall and winter wardrobe because it never goes out of style, adds an extra layer of warmth, and can be styled in different ways. Below are 4 simple ways you can incorporate puffer vests into your outfits.

1. Mad for Plaid (classic)

The most common way to wear puffer vests is to style it with a plaid top. This style could be considered more “preppy,” but anyone can pull it off whether it’s your everyday style or going to do something outdoors. (of course with cute hiking boots) Try a bright-colored vest like this hot pink one for a pop of color.

2. Dress

This is probably my favorite outfit because I love wearing sweater dresses + thigh high boots together. This outfit can be worn without the vest, but the vest adds a little something more to it. To dress it down, try pairing it with some sneakers.

3. Sweater Weather

Layer a puffer vest over a sweater for extra warmth and still stay stylish! Also, jeans + booties with this outfit is super cute!

4. Sporty

Last but not least, ya know I couldn’t do a fashion post without sneakers and comfort. =p Whether you’re going to the gym or just enjoy wearing athleisure clothing like me, being comfortable is my favvv. (Click here for my blog post about athleisure wear.)
