Basic Invite- the most customizable & easiest way to create invitations

spring jumpsuit

It’s finally getting warmer in Minnesota. Crossing my fingers that it stays like this because we literally had a blizzard in the middle of April last weekend; it was wild. I read a funny meme on Facebook saying, “Spring isn’t here yet cause my summer body isn’t ready.” Lol, trrruuuuu! But as we move along the year with hopes of warmer weather, it’s getting closer to graduations and weddings season! Getting invitations for spring and summer events are exciting because you get to spend time with friends and family while enjoying the nice weather.

Springg Breakkk 2018, hayyyyyyy! I feel so old to be going on ‘spring break,’ lol. Anyways, going to Texas was one of those “bettt” moment. Like, “Bet you won’t come to Texas.” And my response, “Don’t bettt meee!” And that lead to me booking a flight to Texas. First destination: Corpus Christi, North Beach. Kinda crazy because my boyfriend lives in Fort Worth, so that’s an estimated 6 hours drive out, but we made the one day trip anyways because ‘everyday we lit.’ ;p The drive there was fun, but long and tiring. Had to make a lot of pit stops and the traffic was horrible. When we finally reached our destination, it was right after sunset.

Once we got to the beach, the 6 hours drive was so worth it! The touch of the sand, the sound of the waves crashing, the beautiful view. Happiness. Bliss. Something about the ocean that makes it seem like all your problems are small and life is calm. Ocean therapy. We stayed at the beach for a little bit. My friends and I watched as Suelong swam in the ocean. I didn’t want to jump in because I didn’t have my swimsuit on. I was down to go skinny dipping though, lol jk.

Left the beach to go check into our lovely beach front hotel.  (And by lovely I meant the hotel wasn’t what we expected.) After checking in, we finally went to go grab dinner. The entire trip all we ate were snacks and alcohol. Not sure why nobody was complaining, but I know I was a little. x) We went to Pier 99 for some bomb ass seafood. North Beach was a little quiet. We asked our uber driver for some recommendations for the night life, but everything was mainly young college/high-school kids and we were not about that 16+ party life, haha! Called it a night early since everyone was worn-out from the drive. Before heading back to Fort Worth the next morning, we ate at Yo Philly CheeseSteaks. Pretty good. Laughed a little when we were eating because they had the Philadelphia, Eagles stuff all over the restaurant. I officially met Suelong for the first time over a bet from the Eagles and Patriots super-bowl game, lol. But that’s a story for another time. Hope you all enjoyed this post. Where was your last destination for Spring Break?
